Will work part-time while pursuing her board certification
Midwest Veterinary Dental Services would like to welcome Dr. Colleen Geisbush to our practice. She is traveling from Davis, California, and will be at MVDS part-time to pursue her board certification in equine dentistry, working under the supervision of Dr. Travis Henry and Dr. Molly Rice.
Currently, Dr. Geisbush is her final year of small animal dentistry residency at the UC-Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. We are excited to have another UC Davis colleague in Wisconsin and we think our clients will appreciate her extensive training and passion for dentistry.
About Dr. Geisbush
Dr. Geisbush grew up in San Diego, California, and moved to Davis, California, where she completed her Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine Degrees at the University of California-Davis.
After graduation, she completed an equine internship in Loomis, California, followed by a small animal internship in Glendale, California. In 2016, she returned to UC-Davis to begin her dentistry residency.
Dr. Geisbush was drawn to dentistry early in veterinary school after having MVDS’s Dr. Travis Henry work on her own Arab gelding, Prince. She decided to pursue a dual-track residency in equine and small animal dentistry and is working toward double board certification.
When she is away from the clinic and her dental pursuits, Dr. Geisbush and her husband, Alex, enjoy archery, working in their yard, and spending time with their dogs, Bell and Soka.
