Mario Venegas
Veterinary Assistant, Farm Boarding Manager
Mario joined Midwest Veterinary Dental Services in 2015. He is passionate about caring for horses and has experience in many areas including grooming, handling, horse transportation, and barn management.
Mario grew up in Guadalajara, Mexico on a horse and cattle farm. He came to the US in 1998. In 2002 he started working at a hunter/jumper barn and later went on to manage a dressage barn.
Mario is married to Shannon and they have 2 daughters and 1 son. Shannon shares Mario’s love of horses and rides dressage with her Saddlebred, Johnny Cash and Warmblood, Cruise. Their children enjoy their pony, Little Monte. In his spare time, Mario enjoys watching soccer, traveling and spending time with his family.
